dc.description.abstract Tracking Systems to assist pedestrians have been in practice for a long time now. They help users to track and trace their live locations as well as others too. The locations can be in form of either texts or in maps. The issue that users face is that most of the major features require cost and subscription or not on one (1) application.The user interface is often too complex and require manuals to understand. To cater this issue, we have developed an android based Mobile Application “SafeTrace” to help users to Track and Trace themselves or their loved ones free of cost and experience all the necessary features on a single platform. Some additional features have also been added to make SafeTrace unique in the market like Panic Mode, Spot Mode, in-app chats etc. Live Locations can be checked, saved and shared in databases. Users profiles are created with their Phone Numbers and they can connect with people through the app. SafeTrace is designed in a simple user friendly and attractive interface where users can experience all the features. en_US
