Abstract:
Fake news is a rising concern in today’s society; it seeks to alter the opinions of the great majority of internet users. The goal of this initiative is to address the issue of online fake news. The project is a web-based application that uses a machine learning model, LSTM that is trained on a huge data set using real data gathered from five distinct genuine sites to identify whether a news article is bogus or credible combined with a dataset from Kaggle. A text is entered by the user into the web application. To determine if a news source is reputable or not, a machine learning model is applied.
