IoT Based Intelligent Transport Security System

Abstract

Transport enables communication, trade and other form of exchange between people hence playing an essential part in economic growth and globalization. With 160 mil~ion of people, transport in Pakistan is one of the most rapidly growing sectors. Since a very long time, public transport is the most frequently utilized transport in Pakistan. However, t here have been many incidents such as terrorist attacks, thefts, accidents etc. Recent ly, there was an incident at the motorway which gave us tllis idea for protecting the citizens of Pakistan from further incidents like this. The purpose of t his project is to create an intelligent t ransport monitoring system which will help the customer t o notify t he Network Operations Center his/her location in case of an emergency on the press of a button. 1
