dc.description.abstract Purpose: The current research study investigated the consequence of workplace ostracism on employee work engagement, stress and acquiescence silence on an employee in the organizations of Pakistan. The study considered work ostracism as independent variable while employee work engagement, stress and acquiescence silence as dependent variables. Methodology and Design: The study used with quantitative and deductive approach. The study considered on cause and effect based investigation of phenomenon. The study selected with primary responses as data and used with questionnaire as data collection instrument. The questionnaire is developed on Likert Scale (ranging from 1 to 5). The study used with survey as data collection method. The study used with convenience sapling approach. The study selected with a sample size of 300 for the study. The collected data for the study applied with descriptive statistics, reliability test, Pearson correlation and regression analysis. Findings: The results ofthe study clearly revealed with positive correlation of work ostracism to employee work engagement, stress and acquiescence silence in case of organizational functional in Pakistan. Hypotheses HI and H3 got accepted while H2 got rejected at 5 percent level ofsignificance. Limitation: Time, knowledge and human resource factors observed as major challenges. Recommendations: The human resource function of an organization need to practices with employee engagement practices to overcome the expansion and spread of Ostracism in work cultural and reduce existing level with social interaction among employees. HR need to bring up with ethical training for employees and reward employees also on their work behavior within the work environment. The management of an organization also need to bring up with effective communication within organization to ensure openness for employee to discussion things openly. en_US
