| dc.description.abstract | Purpose: This study was conducted with the intention of determining the extent to which the quality of port infrastructure, logistics performance, and national economic growth all related to each other. Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative method using the primary data collection technique was used. The data was collected from 350 participants using a questionnaire. Findings: The findings ofthe study demonstrated that the standard of port infrastructure and the efficiency of logistics operations had a beneficial effect on the expansion of the national economy. Conclusion: According to the findings of the study, it is essential for developing nations to continue improving the quality ofport infrastructure since doing so helps to improved logistical performance, which in turn leads to more seaborne commerce, which in turn results in increased economic growth. This link, however, becomes less significant as poor countries continue to accrue wealth. Limitations: The essential constraint of the present study is that it incorporated a single method in the current study. Besides, it utilizes data from only one economy that is Pakistan. Recommendations: According to the findings of the study, policymakers in developing consideration to making smaller investments in the quality nations should give more improvement of port infrastructure and the performance of logistics systems rather than making larger investments in the construction of new physical infrastructures. | en_US |
