dc.description.abstract Seismic lines 93-MN-07, 93-MN-08 and 782-CW-29, obtained from Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions (DGPC), were shot by POL in 1994 in the area of Minwal (study area) which lies in the Central Potwar on the southern flank of Soan syncline. The already interpreted 2-D seismic lines were re-interpreted to reveal as clearly as possible the subsurface structure of the Minwal anticline. The well data of Minwal X-1 was used to confirm the reflector depth. The interpretation includes the construction of time and depth contour maps on Chorgali horizon. Time contour map of the reflector was generated using two way time of the reflector. Average velocity was used to find the depth of the formation from the seismic section. Time vs depth of Minwal X-1 on seismic line 93-MN-08 was also plotted. Data gathering on tectonics, description of structure, and stratigraphy is an integral part of this project. en_US
