dc.description.abstract In this study, we aimed to find out Geo-Technical Properties of Saman Suk Formation, in Shah Alla Ditta region, and also we performed fracture analysis on that Formation. We did couple of fields for sampling and also fracture analysis by using circle inventory method as it was much convenient for us to adopt, and samples that were obtained on field were further processed towards laboratory testing for carrying out different GeoTechnical tests, that include UCS, Specific Gravity, Los Angeles Abrasion test and Water absorption or porosity test, which later on gave some particular results, through which we derived certain results and deduced Geo-Technical Properties of Samana Suk Formation. Throughout our study we were dedicated enough and performed each and every task with proper care and attention by keeping the health and safety factor constant. we conclude that we can use aggregate of this formation for road construction, ramping, and other minor engineering purposes, but we cannot use it for foundation of high-rise buildings and other major geo technical projects as the UCS values seems to be very low, from which we conclude that it makes the formation weak and sampling in extraction becomes more easier also these fractures enhance the reservoir properties, porosity and permeability. en_US
