Abstract:
Askari Bank Limited is a private commercial and retail bank which is owned by Fauji Foundation Group. AKBL was incorporated in Pakistan on October 9, 1991, as a public limited company. It commenced operations on April 1, 1992 and is principally engaged in the business of banking as defined in the Banking Companies Ordinance, 1962. AKBL has expanded into a nationwide presence of 600 Conventional and Islamic branches and wholesale bank branch in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
