dc.description.abstract The study comprises of engineering properties of Sakesar Limestone of eastern Salt Range, located in Choa Saidan Shah area, Chakwal. Laboratory tests were done by collecting samples and then testing the samples in laboratory of CTTI (Construction Technology And Training Institute). Engineering properties were characterized on the basis of results derived from Gradation, Los Angeles test, Specific Gravity and Soundness test. Results were compared with pre-defined standards and suitability of ggregate for road construction practices was evaluated. Comparison showed that sakesar Limestone aggregates are suitable for road construction practices. en_US
