dc.description.abstract | According to National Highways and Motorways Police report that over 30,000 people die and thousands are permanently disabled due to road accidents every year in Pakistan, which is increasing gradually by 2% annually. It is also mentioned that more than 64 percent of these rear-end collisions were the result of driver inattention and poor visibility that were due to poorjudgment or bad weather condition. This.project's goal is to make driving assistance system which we can use for driving purposes. It is suitable for the area where visibility is very least or even sometime zero due to dense fog or any other natural disaster it shows the distance between two car or any other obstacle and warn potential driver through message and with the buzzer beeps when obstacle come closer. We can call it a completely accident-avoidance system. We have demonstrated our project keeping every possible engineering method and available • solutions that would lead us to a cheap and accident-free system. Our basic goal while making this accident-avoidance system and vehicle safety were the multiple main objectives that we worked on to achieved. Some ofthose objectives were to keep the system as much light weight and small as possible, safe to drive on road with proper working of eveiy part ofthe accident-avoidance system and last but not the least, its cost should be low that everyone can afford to avoid collision in foggy area where visibility is zero. This project uses different electrical and telecommunication engineering techniques in each and every aspect of the manufacturing. The main benefit of employing numerous techniques is that it results to make a real time system that can warn potential drivers for an impending collision. The world is evolving so much into new technologies and soon well be seeing a lot of progress in the transport sector. This project is perfect for future because it provides a personal safety as well .......- as vehicle safety. | en_US |
