dc.description.abstract A Hexacopter can be considered as an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle which is an aerial machine that can fly without pilot supervision on board. It may be operated manually or automatically. Its technology is such that might be used for various purposes such as environmental research applications such as airborne surveillance, photography, deliveries, conservation surveillance, and many others things globally. This is extremely beneficial in terms of saving money and reducing manpower. UAVs are proven to be much more capable and cost-effective than manpower. There are several varieties but, in our case, our Hexacopter is supervised by an alert system on a computer on ground station. The drone is connected to the computer though a telemetry system. The route/mission of the drone is planned on software and then it will be uploaded into the flight controller of the drone through telemetry. After the start command, the drone will autonomously fly and by following the route and secure our parameter. The other part ofthe project, the surveillance part, will survey the area below with a camera, processes the information with a processing unit on board, and sends an alert, in this case an email, with live feed. en_US
