Abstract:
Green practices in the management of many organisations are becoming common day by day which include less use of paper work, reductions in carbon footprints etc. This study is on green hiring process and its impact on organization performance with moderating role of servant leadership in banking sector of Pakistan. Private banks operating in Islamabad were considered for this research. Five to six branches of the top banks were selected. This study considers 250 as a population and according to the table given by Krejcie and Morgan (1970) for selecting an appropriate sample size, 152 is considered as the sample size for this research. The instrument used to collect data was questionnaires. The questionnaire consists of 5-point Likert Scale which starts from strongly disagree to strongly agree with 1 to 5 in numbers. SSPS (statistical use for social science) software is used for results and analysis such as demographic analysis, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and moderation analysis. The findings of the study revealed that green hiring has a significant impact on organization performance. The study also exhibits that servant leadership significantly moderates relationship between green hiring and organization performance.
