dc.description.abstract Geographically the area under study lies in Chakwal district and geologically in the Central Potwar Sub Basin. Turkwal field is being operated by Pakistan Oil Field Limited (POL). Reservoir that lies in the Sakesar Limestone and is considered to be good reservoir. The present study conducted for the structural interpretation and reservoir analysis of the Turkwal field using seismic and petrophysical analysis. Seismic interpretation of the area reveals that the area is faulted and folded. Pop-up anticlines are identified as one of the basic structures in the area. Formations from Eocene to Cambrian are found along with repetition of Chorgali and Sakesar Limestone due to stacking pattern. The overall trend of the structures is north-west. The petrophysical zones of interest lie in Sakesar Limestone. The interpreted zones show hydrocarbon potential. en_US
