dc.description.abstract Geologically, Dhermund area is located in the western foothills of Himalayas, Potwar Basin, northern Pakistan. The primary reason for investigation is to understand the structure of the area and hydrocarbon potential. Seismic interpretation of the area reveals that area has an open structure. There is no major fault in the area but has some minor faults. Geoseismic section is a part of seismic interpretation which describes the lithology of the area laterally. There is no structural trap present in the area as the Formations are exposed on the surface. en_US
