Impact of Digital Supply Chain on Event Management Industry

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of digital supply chain on Event Management Industry in Pakistan. The study is about that how digital supply chain has affected the performance of Event Industry. It analyze how digital technologies enhance and strengthen the capacity for procurement, sourcing, and planning optimization. It shows that supply chain can greatly benefit from digitalization, which increases information availability, streamlines logistics processes, collects data in real-time, improves inventory management, and increases transparency. This study includes three independent variables that are digital technologies, digital logistics, and digital inventory management extracted from SCOR model the official supply chain management diagnostics, as a performance metric. This study consists of following objectives in Chapter 1; to identify the effect of digital supply chain on performance of event management industry. This study is based on quantitative methodology, which consists of questionnaire survey filled by mostly event management firms in Pakistan within age group of 20 to 50 above from Punjab, Capital, Sindh and KPK. Three Hypothesis were created in chapter 2 and then tested with data collected from PLS-SEM, evaluated results show that two variables accepted as their results were significant . Results showed that digital logistics and digital inventory management have positive impact on digital supply chain. This study will be helpful for other researchers in future and I’ll recommend them to do research on qualitative data for more information.
