dc.description.abstract Purpose of this study was to determine the factors which are affecting people or consumer behavior to adopt financial technology in Pakistan. This study includes fintech startups, operations, its importance in future businesses, financial inclusion in Pakistan, challenges, opportunities and government regulation and support for understanding. This study includes four independent variables Effort expectancy, performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and a dependent variable Fintech adoption extracted from UTAUT model which are performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions. This study consists of four objectives in Chapter 1 is; To identify the effect of independent variable on dependent variable and their relationship. This study is based on quantitative methodology, which consists of questionnaire survey filled by mostly students and job holders within age group of 20 to 50 from Punjab, Capital, Sindh and KPK. Four Hypothesis were created in chapter 2 and then tested with data collected from PLS-SEM, evaluated results show that two variables accepted as they show similar positive relationship with dependent variable. Social influence and performance expectancy are the two independent variable which have positive relationship with fintech adoption. This study will be helpful for other researchers in future and Fintech companies to study consumer behavior towards fintech adoption in Pakistan en_US
