dc.description.abstract | This study meant to provide better understanding of the subsurface structure of the Bitrism block, which is located in Sindh, Lower Indus Basin, Pakistan, and to estimate petrophysical parameter of Fateh-01 well by numerical equation with the use of well logs. This research is based on seismic and well log data. Seven reflectors were marked on the basis of prominent reflections. Which after correlation with borehole stratigraphic column encountered in Fateh-01 well. These were named as Kirthar Formation, Laki Formation, Sui Main Limestone Formation, Upper Ranikot Formation, Lower Ranikot Formation, Upper Goru Formation and Lower Goru Formation. The seismic data is utilized for the identification of structural traps, marking the horizons, massive sands of Lower Goru Formation the primary reservoir of the study area. One zone of interest is marked having hydrocarbon saturation of about 33% and water saturation of about 67%. | en_US |
