dc.description.abstract Geographical location of study area lies between latitude 33.257 to 33.235N and longitude 72.801 to 73.057E. Geographically Pindori oil field is present to the south-east of the twin cities (Islamabad/Rawalpindi). The data provided by Directorate General of Petroleum Concession (DGPC) comprised of five seismic lines (S88-06, S88-08, S88-10, S88-12, and S88-34), navigation files and well log data of the Pindori-1. S88-34 is strike line and others are dip lines. A total of two horizons at level of Chorgali and Sakesar formations were marked on seismic lines. A structural feature popup anticline bordered by major and back thrusts were identified in Pindori area. The petrophysical interpretation of the Pindori-01 well shows that zone of interest is marked having water saturation of about 66% and hydrocarbon saturation of about 34%. en_US
