| dc.description.abstract | Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing a key role in changing the future. As leaders of AI, both the US and China are investing in this technology while also introducing it within their military affairs. Both states have adopted different tactics and strategies to adopt AI as part of their military modernization. The introduction of AI in warfare could change the ways wars would be fought in the future, hence taking a leap from the ongoing informatized warfare to intelligentized warfare. As AI would change the nature of warfare, it could also have impacts on the global security landscape. The implications in this regard would be negative as AI is a technology if turns sentient could lead towards a catastrophe. | en_US |
