Abstract:
Human rights are those rights that are crucial for every person to have in order to live in peace in this world. These are the fundamental rights that allow a man to exist in dignity and freedom. These rights are absolutely essential and cannot be curtailed under any circumstances. However, the situation of human rights situation in Indian- occupied Kashmir is not enforced in their fullest. Media is continuously projecting fake news and claiming happy Kashmir and in real Kashmiri is bleeding and facing continuous massacre. This paper aims to explore the fundamental causes behind the human rights violation in IOK and an attempt has been made to discuss that despite of being the most efficient, instructive, and organized mode of communication media couldn’t help in the preservation and respect of human rights and failed to portray their stance to the world. Furthermore, this research lies under the International Political community area of international relations. In a nutshell, this study is basic research, and the Qualitative method is adopted to study the research in detail.
