| dc.description.abstract | The research underscores the contemporary political course of events in the international arena amid United States and China. The ascending power competition among the two great powers and its implications on the South Asian region, in particular Pakistan. The research highlights Pakistan's changing political dynamics in response to the great power competition and how prudently Pakistan is shifting from geo strategy towards geo economic approach. This research shed light on the everchanging international political and economic position is enduring complex and intense advancement. The research emphasizes on the geo-economic importance of Pakistan's role in the South Asian region and similarly concentrating on the growing U.S. China rivalry consequences and vis versa. The swift acceleration of U.S. China rivalry and the two-pronged conflict nature has put Pakistan at a perilous position.
