dc.description.abstract Geologically, Meyal oil field is located in the Himalayan foreland and thrust belts, Potwar Basin, northern Pakistan. Meyal field is being operated by Pakistan Oil Field Limited (POL). Reservoir is Sakesar Limestone and is considered to be good reservoir. The present study conducted for the structural interpretation and reservoir analysis of the Meyal field using seismic and petrophysical analysis. Seismic interpretation of the area reveals that the area is faulted and folded. Pop-up anticlines are identified as one of the basic structures in the area. The overall trend of the structures is north-west. The petrophysical zones of interest lie in Chorgali Formation. The interpreted zones show hydrocarbon potential. en_US
