dc.description.abstract | This thesis targets structural seismic interpretation of Bhangali area, Upper Indus basin with the help of seismic data. For this objective we were provided with 5 seismic lines by LMKR with the approval of DGPC. Interpretation of seismic data consists of Base map generation, Selection of control line and plotting of TD chart. A total of 5 reflectors were marked on the control line and were extended on the other lines using strike line using Jump Correlation Technique. Two-way travel contour maps and depth maps were generated at top of Murree Formation, Chorgali Formation, Sakesar Limestone and Khewra Sandstone in order to understand the structural style and geometries present in our study area. A positive anticlinal structures was marked in the study area that is bounded by reverse faults namely F1 and F2, F3, F4 and F5. | en_US |
