Abstract:
The field of study is located near PindiGheb, Upper Indus Basin Pakistan.
Dhulian area consists of a compressional regime and has various complicated thrust
faulting. Structure geology defines that Dhulian’s structure is symmetrical anticline
with dips varying from 30° to 35°. Dhulian has the potential and it is also known as
one of the most producing fields of Pakistan. Petrophysical analyses were not carried
out due to the unavailability of data. In Seismic data interpretation horizons were
marked and faults were identified on the formation tops which were named Chorgali,
Sakesar, Lockhart and Dandot formations. Contour maps including time, velocity and
depth maps, were also generated.
