dc.description.abstract Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have risen as the center of effective information management and the enterprise backbone of organizations. Organizations prefer to use such systems for a multitude of reasons. Whatever the plans might be they reap numerous benefits from implementing such systems like increase in productivity, streamlining business processes and efficient and safe record keeping. Welfare organizations need to be extra careful about any slip ups they make as it could have a significantly negative impact on the populace they serve, making ERP systems the best fit for their requirements. ERP solutions can revolutionize the administrative processes optimize the daily workings of welfare organizations by working closely with their like looking - with overseeing authoritative systems, money related systems and staff (both employees and volunteers) crosswise. over societies, NGOs rely upon IT systems to keep their organization together and working. Unmistakably an ERP system may be only the thing to make everything run easily. Edhi distinguishes itself from other social enterprises by excelling in serving the society in shroud and burial services for unidentified bodies, and providing a home to the disabled, orphans and abandoned children. It also provides for free health and pharmacy services in under privileged areas and healing for victims of drug abuse. Edhi’s mission is to serve humanity without the distinction of race, ethnicity and religion. As quoted by Faisal Edhi “We do not discriminate between Muslims and Non-Muslims while helping Humanity”. It is because of these principles and dedication to the service of humanity that Edhi Foundation has accredited numerous awards and recognition across the world. And its services across Pakistan and all over the world. are We plan to play a small role in this noble cause by automating and digitalizing of the services currently being offered by Edhi foundation. These services include Edhi Morgue, Edhi Schooling System, Old Homes and Orphanage Centers and Edhi Jhoola Service (orphans and poor families who cannot afford the upbringing of a child leave their infant children at Edhi Foundations doorsteps). some For the Edhi Morgue'our proposed system will be able to register deceased body, assign shelf and tag number, record available details and process bills of the dead bodies. In the Edhi Jhoola Service our system will be able to store all the information of babies, we receive from cradles. Similarly, for the schools and old homes our system will optimize the current pen and paper system into a completely new digital landscape by recording data and publishing various useful reports like the student attendance report and the employee payroll system. en_US
