dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of green supply chain practices (green packaging and environmental purchasing practices) on the operational performance of the automobile industry in Karachi, Pakistan. The method and design used for this research followed a quantitative approach via questionnaire survey filled by the managers, staff members of the automobile industries. This systematic sampling method approach included 310 participants overall in the firm. The research found out that there is a positive significant impact ofgreen supply chain practices on the operational performance management of the firm and positive impact of operational performance management on green supply chain practices. The data was analyzed using SmartPLS software. Although, the targeted audience data specifically targeted the automobile industry, the research has suggested that GSCM practices can be studied to other firm industries with alternative strategies and methods to explore the automobile industry GSCM practices. en_US
