Abstract:
The core reason of this research is to identify and investigate the impacts of Technology,
organization and environment factors for the adoption ofthe cloud based ERP systems by the small
and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Karachi Pakistan. The survey method was used in this study to
collect the data in which 250 respondent ofIT department and senior positions including CEO and
CFO’s participated from several companies. Smart Partial least squares path modeling version 3
was used for the data analysis. Regression analysis method was used to analyze the data as it gives
significant results to the researcher. Convenience sampling technique was used for gathering and
collecting the data. The results extracted from this study showed that the organizational context
that is top management support and the Environmental Context that is competitive pressure have
a significant impact for the adoption of cloud based ERP system among SMEs whereas
technological context that are internet reliability, cost effectiveness along with cloud security and
data privacy have no significant impact for the adoption ofcloud based ERP system among SMEs
in Karachi Pakistan
