Abstract:
BUHSC Dental Information Management System is developed to automate the daily clinical operations of Bahria Dental clinic. This system contains four main modules which includes Patient, Doctor, Staff and Admin. Each module has its own scope. This system manages all the clinical tasks which includes registration of patients, maintaining patient medical history, online prescription, specialized treatments and reports. As we know life today is very busy. Patients don’t want to fall in the long lines to get themselves register and make appointment for their desired doctor. It takes a lot of time and effort. Everyone prefers to do things online because it saves them time and there is no such effort required. This system provides online appointment functionality to patients. Patient can get registered and system allow them to make their appointments online with their desired doctor. The system brings automation in the hospital and with its help the process of data handling will become smooth. It will become easier to store data record and retrieval. This software has the facility to give a unique id for every patient and stores the patients detail. Patients can search for their desired doctor and can check their availability. The system is able to generate bills for the patient. The System contains inventory feature through which hospital can maintain the record of medicine and dental equipment stock.
