dc.description.abstract Requirements management is an extensive, exhaustive process comprising of many stages within it. Why requirements are so pivotal, it’s because of their crucial worth that is requirements act as a baseline of any project. If requirements are truly and efficiently collected, then results will be succeeded otherwise it will be vague. In order to have rapid evolution, progress in business as well as in the software projects, efficient management of requirements in a technical way is the ultimate cause. In a modern era, everything is correlated to technology and when we discourse about technology the next query arises is of advancement in technology. The ultimate truth behind it is just not related to the project design, development but it is related to how the projects quality and standards are associated with it. In order to create a quality oriented project, we have to manage our requirements in proficient way. Further in this important mechanism is that of change management, which may require substantial cost, demanding obligation prerequisite. Change control structure in agile development project is highly associated with it as customers are dynamically involved after every delivery of a milestone. Requirements are changed as per the expectations of customer which may require heavy cost or may not depending upon how better we accomplish with requirements engineering process. The research work in this thesis is comprised of effective requirements management process and the cost effective factors that will diminish the cost of production or maximize the peculiarity for quality in this productivity. Empirical study is conducted to examine and analyse critical success factors out of numerous factors which will not compromise the quality and helps in delivering the project on limited time span with reduced cost. As these factors are identified by comprehensive literature study and later empirical study, further we have piloted here a meticulous case study which aids to recognize the criticality and value of these success factors in agile design and development. en_US
