Abstract:
Making the user experience great over the internet has been always the main core for years. TCP plays a crucial role in achieving this goal by providing E2E data packet delivery and is one of the most broadly used protocol in the digitalized world. PMIPv6 uses Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) for mobility management. However, using TCP protocol for Network-based Mobility management makes mobility performance over the internet more efficient and reliable. But still, it lacks behind in achieving low latency and faces packet delay that usually ends up with packet loss. These issues are the current challenges to be focused on, in the wireless network area. In our research work, we have made use of the newly introduced protocol designed by google called QUIC protocol as a replacement for TCP in the context of HTTP, to make user experience over the internet more efficient. A number of experiments are performed and results are evaluated. our research findings reveal that the presented scheme outperformed when compare with the TCP.
