dc.description.abstract Now a days renewable energy source is requirement to eliminate resource limitation and elimination of harmful products e.g. CO2. Pakistan has potential for sun powered power because of its land area. So grid connected photovoltaic systems are becoming increasingly popular and grabbing importance .This this thesis presents the performance analysis of 100 kW on grid solar power plant installed at Bahria University Islamabad. System was observed from May 2019 to August 2019. Location, solar irradiation, shading, weather conditions, layout, equipment quality, system design, operation and maintenance affect the solar power generation. The installed solar system produced 52602kwh energy units in tenure of four months and per unit cost is 2.989 Rs per kwh. en_US
