dc.description.abstract Heterogeneous databases integration system must resolve the conflicts. These heterogeneous databases may be from different companies, universities etc. and placed on different locations e.g. I database is in Islamabad and the other one is in Lahore. The system which integrates databases must be conflict free and designed to present a consistent view to the user. For this purpose system/tool designed in such a way that it retrieves data from different sources, identifies and resolve the conflicts and present consistent data. So the identification and resolution of conflicts is the most critical part of system. We present these conflicts with the help of queries and posed on integrated schema. We also developed a system/tool which retrieves data from two different sources as an input (XML file) and then identifies and resolve the conflicts in data. We used C as programming language, SQL-Server and MS Access as two different databases. en_US
