dc.description.abstract The output power that can be achieved from Z-source converter is (theoretically) up to ∞, the higher output power the higher will be the voltage/current stress on the passive component of inverter which can destroy the converter. To reduce the voltage/current stress on the passive components of Z-source converter. Different methods are adopted to enhance system efficiency and handle with this stress some of them will be likely to use the component of the high rating, such components will be able to withstand to such stress without any damage, other techniques should be likely to use passive components of normal rating and used heatsink, through this the components will be withstand to high heat up without damage but this is not an efficient method for increasing efficiency, the most feasible method to use component of normal rating and divide the current in different paths, and combine all the current to the load end point, though this the current will dissipate in different path, a low value of current will pass through the circuit components so less rating of passive component will be required for a desired output voltage without high current dissipation in circuit, this method seems as the most appropriate method among all for efficiency enhancement. en_US
