Purpose: The purpose is to examine the factors influencing the extent ofHRlS adoption and
its impact on ot ganuation performance: Evidence fromfamily-owned businesses ofKarachi,
Pakistan.

Methodology & Design: This research is based on quantitative method and deductive
approach. As hypothesis are developed through existing literature about employee innovative
behavior and researcher is aimed to test those hypotheses that's why deductive approach is
suitablefor this. The sample size was 419forthis study. The data is evaluated through testing
the relevancy and validity of the hypothesis on SMART PLS software. The data that
collected was further tested and analyzed by regression, SEM and could be explained
accurately via path analysis.

Findings: As per the findings ofthis study states that top management and social influence
have a positive influence on perceived usefulness whereas technical competency has
significant impact on perceived usefulness. Perceived usefulness has a positive impact

Limitations: The timeframe ofthis research was limited and data is gatheredwithin the span

Recommendations: It is high time of digital era to shift organization 's manual process
towards automated ones and HR Professionals should focus on using HRIS and Top
Management should provide maximum support in term of monetary or morale aspect to
motivate for technology adoption and HR along with ITplan for some relevant trainingsfor
employees so that they can get maximum benefit ofthis system. IT staffofthe organizations
should understand the system as perthe need ofthe specific organizational culture and then
