| dc.description.abstract | Purpose: The objective of the current study was to explore the mediating role of work-life balance on the association of Emotional Intelligence and Job Satisfaction among the government and private corporate organizations of Pakistan. Methodology & Design: The data was collected from 351 employees of private and government organizations located in Karachi. The sample size was chosen through non probability' convenience sampling. This research is a quantitative study based on deductive approach. The data is evaluated through testing the relevancy and validity ofthe hypothesis on SMART PLS software, Structural Equational Model (SEM) was applied to see the impact of variables, and Boot strap testing to examine to the mediation effect of WLB. Findings: The result of analysis found that the mediating effect of work-life balance on the relationship of emotional intelligence and job satisfaction is insignificant. But the effect of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction was found to be significant. Also, work-life balance was found to have significant impact on the job performance. study has several domains to be explored further. But was Limitations: The current constrained by the time and budget. The future research can focus on exploring other mediating work engagement, employee empowerment that might have a significant impact on the relationship ofEmotional intelligence and job satisfaction. variables such as : Organizations must develop policies and practices in support of attaining response to the needs of employees. Also, employees must be supported work-life conflict to achieve a balance. Recommendations: work-life balance in through counselling or workshops to reduce femotional intelligence in employees.
