Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose ofthis research paper is to study whether industries in Pakistan give importance
to Management Information System and their decisions is based on MIS or not. As we know
that in modem era of Information Technology any company can’t be survived in competitive
market if that company don’t knovv the value of Management Information System. In order
to survive and compete all organization should have MIS department.
Methodology & Design
The research model selected is explanatory. Research was done and earned out by using the
questionnaires. Basically the questionnaire was floated among the employees of different
industrial sectors (garment industry. IT industry, and Food industry). 351 respondents
responded to the floated questionnaire.
Findings
A superior thoughtful and findings was obtained about the factors that leaves footprint on to
the decision making capability of employees. While focusing on to the research, there is an
optimistic, considerable and significant effects of independent variables (DBMS, Knowledge
about importance of Information System, Performance of Computer Networking) on to the
employee decision making capability but one independent variable that is Information have
not major impact on employee decision making capability Purpose
