FACTORS OF LOGISTICS 4.0 TO ENHANCE THE SUPPLY CHAIN PERFORMANCE IN FMCG INDUSTRY OF PAKISTAN

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of Organizational, Technological &, Environmental capability on Logistic 4.0 performance of the firm. The logistics 4.0 is different as its focus is inculcation of technology aimed at increasing the sustainable performance. Studies have claimed that firms who implemented the Logistic 4.0 witnessed a significant growth making the firm more agile and efficient. i i ; : ! Methodology & Design: the research method for this study is quantitative while the data is gathered using primary data collection methodology. The research approach is deductive whereas, questionnaire is used to collect data from respondents. The sample size for the study is 350. The scope of the study has identified that, the data is being analyzed using PLS software and tests includes Regression and Cronbach alpha tests. ! i Findings: The findings from the tests shows that. Technological and Environmental capabilities have significant impact on logistics 4.0 i.e., firm performance while, the organization capability show insignificant impact. In the end, it is important that the sustainability goals are aligned with Logistics 4.0 strategies. Managers need to increase focus towards development of Logistics 4.0 dynamic capabilities that enhance agility and responsiveness in the supply chain.
