Abstract:
Purpose: The current study aims to gather information about the relationship of E Procurement dimensions and SC performance with the effect on overall firm performance.
Methodology & Design: Quantitative method is used to investigate and gather data for the
future observations. A questionnaire was designed to measure the aspects of research
framework; questionnaire was constructed on a Likert-scale.
Findings: The present study findings depicted the significant impact of e-procurement on
partner relationships and information sharing on SC performance.
Limitations: The current study used only data from only Karachi, imposing a limitation for
the study as every city/nation differs regarding geographical attributes and ethnic
background. Along with these factors, leader’s perceptions also vary as per the city’s
resources and socioeconomic elements. Hence the results of this study might be limited to
explicit settings.
Recommendations: it is recommended that organizations offer information to all their
suppliers on inventory levels of products, their composition, and raw materials bought from
them devoid of unfairness and implement satisfactory debriefing of suppliers to improve
accomplice connections after each assessment. It is further recommended that firms adopt
rigorous supply chain management practices to upgrade the organizations' inventory network
execution, leading to expansion in profits.
