dc.description.abstract Purpose: Although many studies focus on existing negative effects, little attention has been paid to the positive changes that can occur in everyday life. The aim ofthis study, or the impact assessment ofthe COVID-19 disaster, has significantly changed people's lives and personal work. The research will examine the real and perceived impact ofthe COVID-19 crisis on personal and occupational health and the mental health of Pakistani workers. Methodology & Design: The study is quantitative and is based on a gravitational approach. The purposive sampling approach is employed for data selection for recruiting sample of 300 participants including both male and female respondents. The survey questionnaire is designed on a Likert scale from 1 to 5. Severafstudies have shown that COVID-19 problems lead to a lower status ofworkers and a riskof mental health problems such as stress, depression and anxiety. Emergencies affect people, the chronically ill and pensioners the most. One ofthe most common causes ofsearch stress is the fear oflosing a job and thus income. In addition, social isolation, inconsistent administrative information and vague prejudices have been identified as important factors that cause emotional stress and have a negative impact on mental health and well-being. Limitations: The main limitation the relationship between the variables, but does not provide an underlying causal relationship. In addition, the online survey provided timely infoimation direct effects ofthe COVID-19 crisis. Recommendations: . For the future research it has been suggested that the researcher should focus on different variab es which can also focus on the causes ofthe variables. Moreover, it is also recommended to the future studies to conduct the in-depth analysis by conducting the interview with industry experts. en_US
