dc.description.abstract Indoor positioning system is very useful and important system in today’s world for the purpose of security, maintenance, and observation. A trilateration technique is use to determine the distance and location it is done with the combination of WIFI router and the WIFI active RFID tags. RFID active tags being extensively use to identify and track the objects providing a more convenient way to keep track of valuable objects. Location tracking and positioning systems is classified by the measurement techniques they employ to determine mobile device location. By using the RFID active tags that will broadcast its identification information continuously, the wireless access points take the measurements for time of arrival for a signal from any tag and using the trilateration technique with TDoA (Time Difference of Arrival), the object is precisely positioned. en_US
