Abstract:
Our society lacks automation. The automation that is present is available on very high costs. Our application not only provides the solution in a cost-effectively but also supports the users who are disabled or physically dependent. For them, performing even the simplest tasks, such as switching the lights and fans inside the house is totally a difficult job. The handicapped people suffer from low self-esteem being not able to carry their own burden. Another perspective is the Jack of control over the home lighting. People sitting in the room have no idea about how many lights and fans are switched on in vain around the house and actually getting up and going to turn them off is a difficult task especially when you are in bed, watching tv or about to sleep. The control which the application gives to the user brings him into command and regardless of how far the room is located, the user controls the lighting just by tapping a button on his smartphone. The system which is proposed, gives the user the ability to manage the basic home appliances by the help of his/her hand held device i.e. an Android based smartphone. The user will be able to control the devices that are linked to the system. The smartphone is intended to connect to the internet for achieving the complete control over the home from anywhere around the world. The strongest gain of this system is that it will help the disabled and lazy people to achieve the management control over their homes with no help other than their own smartphones. Home
