dc.description.abstract In these days the diagnostic about the state of health of PV module is done through EL and IRT imaging. These techniques are quite expensive and at the time very difficult to perform. Practically very little research has been done to certain to find out the state of health of PV Modules through MPPT. The key objective of this thesis is to propose a method that can predict the possibilities of any defects in string inverter architecture. The MPPT algorithm proposed in (REF) is used to find the presence of defective module in a PV string. The MPPT algorithm in (REF) is extended to utilize for the purpose of diagnosis. en_US
