dc.description.abstract When talking oftoday's software and mobile applications market only a select few make it to the tertiary industry, success rate is phenomenally low. Factors that ascertain software success are practicality, utility and user-friendliness. Cuisine Feedback System is a one such system which employs primarily an Android mobile application linked with a .Net application. We have provided utility to the restaurants admins as means of helping gather information about their market offerings. Basically the idea behind this all is to help food connoisseurs recognize what's selling at restaurants. The Cuisine Feedback System is a user-friendly system which one can access via a tablet at restaurants. The tablet shows menus at that very restaurant where you are dining at. The tablet would show along with every item's rating out of five stars based on ratings given by previous users. After the customers done with his meal the tablet would again be presented with an option for comments and five empty stars for rating purposes which the customer would fill in. What it does for the restaurants owners/management is that it provides information to them based on critical reviews of their customers about how good their food is. The comments would be used to calculate a Restaurant Score which would be made visible in the admin dashboard in the .Net application. The dashboard would also include the options to edit the menu on a daily basis and other administrative features. For instance a peculiar customer orders a steak at KC Grill in Islamabad and voices his opinions through this platform giving four stars to his steak whilst commenting "good food". His comments and rating are registered on our database. A default mechanism in our system tracks down words which have positive connotations which in this case is the word "good"; once a positive word is added to the comments the application automatically gives a positive rating to the restaurant. Which is then added to the restaurant score for the ad min to see. The greater the positive comments, the higher the score and vice versa. en_US
