| dc.description.abstract | The objective is to develop a GSM based tracking system that would serve the need of the management of registered car companies with such plainness of operation that makes the whole system extremely easy to troubleshoot and provide security. The system permits localization of the automobile and transmits the position and other services to the owner on mobile phone via Short Message Service (SMS). A behavioral history of the vehicle is retrieved on the computer in the form of a database that can be analyzed by the authorized users.
