Security Control & Monitoring System (Software Implementation)

Abstract

The reason for this project was to be able to provide a Security System Interfaced with the Computer and Being able to minimize the cost of the security system by utilizing the computational power of the computer. Our project can be divided into two 1- Hardware 2- Software The Hardware for this project provides the Basic intrusion triggering mechanism which has been implemented by using lasers. Then for the protection of the circuit it self and in case of a break in .thefe is a Sound Sensu!'. Other than this the hardware is used for Id verification of the person who wants to enter the premises and alarm has been used for alerting in case of intrusion. The hardware abo has a special feature which makes it possible to have a self-destruct mechanism for security reasons. The hardware is also responsible for controlling the voltages and Current throughout the circuit as the hardware is interfaced with the motherboard, which can be burnt with even a minute tluctuation in voltage or current. The hardware is also used for providing valid data to the computer and also has its own backup power supply which is automatically switched in case of a power failure and returns to charging when the power is restored. Controllers have also been provided to make adjustments to the sensitivity of the Alarm, various Sensors'.
