dc.description.abstract This study aims to carry out a detailed background analysis of the transboundary water disputes between India and Pakistan, with particular emphasis on the issues surrounding the Kishenganga project. It is intended to carry out a detailed evaluation about the concerns of Pakistan vis-à-vis its water security and impact on overall regional peace and stability associated with this conflict. The viability of IWT in the wake of Kishenganga and relevant disputes is also intended to be discussed in this study.
