Abstract:
Purpose
Natural disasters affect any country on a large scale. After the occurrence ofany natural
or emergency situations, the operational strategies in which the concerned department
contributes to coping up with the situation are critical to developing the effective supply chain
for disaster management. A major focus of the researcher is to highlight the issues which are
created to accommodate the victims in case of emergency and disaster occurred in Pakistan.

Methodology & Design
The current research work is to focus on humanitarian logistics during an emergency
in a supply chain industry. A mixed-method in Pakistan and also study the cogapproach will be used to conduct the study. For secondary data, the relevant literature will be
collected through authentic resources. To get primary data, a closed-ended questionnaire will
be developed and distributed to 50 participants to investigate the purpose.
Findings
The findings shows different factors which directly effects the humanitarian supply
chain management such as ; management role , lack of unified system , lack of resources ,
behavioral problems in employees, political biasness and many more.
Limitations
The study is limited in nature as it primarily focused on a small population and other
financial and time constraints also made it limited so it cannot be generalized over the whole
scenario.
Recommendation
This study offers a unified and unique system which will aim to appoint the passionate
people who are willing to serve with devotion, adopt new strategies and effective planning
without any personal lust or biasness.
