Hospital Management System (Al-Mustafa Trust)

Abstract

AI Mustafa Trust is providing the poor with basic health facilities. They are working in traditional register based system, which is very inefficient and ineffective with reference to their growing requirements. We volunteered to make a Data Base for their organization, which will fulfill their required needs. The tools used in this respect are ORACLE 8i and DEVELOPER 6i. This report is intended to be of value to many different types of readers, including the System Analyst, Computer Programmers, and Students, who are new to the Database projects. It is also beneficial to the people who are interested in the hospital Management Information System. A new system has been proposed and implemented to make the functionality of AI-Mustafa Trust more efficient which is further supported by ERDs!Tables/Charts etc, to give a clear and detailed idea about what is proposed and what is needed to be done and how. Over all the software serves to help in the main purpose of the hospital and that is the management of patients. It starts with; the process when a patient comes to the hospital, which doctor is treating the patient, Stocks in the medicine store, which has been suggested to the patient. Lab tests and their reports, which are advised to the patient. The following pages gives enough information to a user who is about to use the Software. So that he/she can make an efficient use of the system.
