Abstract:
The main idea of the project was to create a website which would help the company increase the sale of their products. The important feature was that it should be very simple to navigate and use. It should be easy for the administration to update the website, since the company did not want to hire a full-time webmaster for this purpose. The implementation of the idea was done utilizing currently available technologies, mainly using ASP to create the main engine and with an MS Access database behind it, to save data. The logic base was the liS. The data store was MS Access. The presentation layer was simple html and Macromedia Flash. User interface design was created to be user friendly and easy to navigate. Overcrowding graphical effects, lines, frames and drawings were avoided. The interface has been made such to give a neat and welcoming feel, versus the usual websites which are cluttered and intimidating for users.
