The forearm of the computer technology has been the web knowledge. The web technology has been the key feature in the advancement of the computer science. Email, Online Selling and Buying, Web Storing and Search engines are the mark of concentration in th~ web advancements. In the beginning people had to stopover several websites to full fill each of the above web needs. In order to use email facility separate websites are visited. To obtain the eCommerce lavishness separate sites are working, which sometimes do not provide the email facility and vice versa. To avoid all this, a new concept of web portal came under surveillance. The web portal works as a gateway to all these facilities. By combing all the web concepts, the web portals provide doorway to eCommerce, email, web Auctions, search engines and several other activities. Hence the web portal provides the brilliant idea of making various web facilities work under one layer.
